| | If he isn't playing for us, it wouldn't hurt for him to go on loan to Roma, however whilst there, he would probs decide he wants to stay there. |

| I hope he is patient and doesn't seek a move in Jan, as I strongly feel that Bianchi will come good if he has another outlet alongside him. The only problem is that we won't get Boj or another player until Jan.
I can see this fella scoring a lot of goals, as 18 goals against itallian defences is very impressive. We just need to hang on to him, and give him a couple of games.

| | With City's striking situation the topic of much debate, Sven-Goran Eriksson has outlined there has been no falling out with Italian striker Rolando Bianchi. "I have not fallen out with him and he has not fallen out with me. He is a very polite young man," Sven stated at Carrington yesterday. "Almost for sure I would have put him on at the end of the game against Bolton, then Micah Richards got injured, so I couldn't. He will have his chance soon." The former Reggina striker's last Barclays Premier League start for the Blues came a month ago in the away defeat at Blackburn and media speculation has since linked him with a return to Serie A once the January transfer window opens. Along with rumours about Bianchi, it was reported in some quarters this week that City had done a deal for Heerenveen's Afonso Alves, which Eriksson denied. Of the speculation he said: "Everybody speaks about football; before the game and after the game and all week. "Of course there’s speculation but that makes part of football. We haven’t signed anyone so far and we are not 100% what we are going to do. I am assured there is money available if we need it. "I can’t speculate about which position we are in because it wouldn’t be fair on the players we have here today. Just wait and see." One of those players trying to force a way back into the Manager's thoughts is Darius Vassell, and having already coached Vassell during his England days, Sven knows all about the former Aston Villa forward. "Darius can score goals and play in different positions. He scored five goals in training today and he is a very useful player for us. "He is now injury-free and still has the qualities he showed for England - that pace and technique."

| | Sven is going to take all the fun out of the rumour business if he keeps saying sensible things like that. Imagine, now we have to wait and see! |
