That's modesty though isn't it?  He could have said " yeah, my pass off the outside of my right boot was brilliant as was some of the zonal pressure" and so on, but he chose to find fault instead.

The mark of a good pro.

My least favourite spelling mistake.  Seems to be the most common though.

Too many people say "I should of..." as well.  That pisses me off.

If it was a one-off, then perhaps it could be seen as that.  Unfortunately, references to scoring goals seem to be about all you get from Fwank - see his comments after the World Cup about how many shots he took and how disappointed he was not to score.  Just as not scoring a goal in the World Cup wasn't the be all and end all, funnily enough it also isn't when your team has just won 6-0.  Seem sit doesn't matter what the circumstances, his prime concern is whether or not he got a goal.

I'm not sure you can really make that judgement off a couple of comments to the press.  Re. the WC - I'd hope he'd be disappointed after the woeful sate of his finishing there.

Hence the word 'seems'.  He is in the public eye and as for all such people, my judgement of him will be based on how he comes across publicly.  His perpetual shooting, references to whether or not he has scored afterwards, denigrating the fans who love the game every bit as much as he does, his wage demands, thinking he is 'owed more respect', Frank TV etc all contribute towards my dislike of both his style of play and his personality.

He had a hell of a lot more to be disappointed about in the WC than just his finishing, yet that was all that seemed to concern him.
