hmmm just a thought anelka bianchi and the mexican one of them not gonna be happy keeping the bench warm lol hope its anelka lol And we have Bojinov, if we get Castillo then that's enough, we don't need Anelka. Bojinov, Castillo and Bianchi - not one proven Premiership scorer (as yet) amongst them... Anelka was second best to Bianchi on Saturday, we don't need him IMO. I still think he's quality but not worth all the baggage that comes with him. If only half the stories of his antics towards the squad in training are true I wouldn't want him back. We're well rid of idiot Barton let's not bring back another player who destroys team spirit.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

Playing devils advocate, I personally would love it if Bianchi stayed and banged them in. Despite all the rumours of unrest, you look at how happy he is when he scores, and then consider Anelka next to that. Would have Bianchi in a heart beat, it's just if he can do what he's there for.

He needs a run of games, two starts, two goal, certainly seems to be going in the right direction. He was interviewed on GMR after the match and seemed happy enough. Sounds like that he's finding life easier now that he's learnt a bit of English.

| Jury's still out on Bianchi IMO. I'd take Anelka if he's available.

| He is a quality player but causes trouble at every club hes been at. The dressing room is sorted now at city, we got rid of our last c*** (Barton)
Personally I really dont want to see players like Anelka back at the club. He changes side every year, I dont see why anyone would want him as good as he is. Damaged goods. |
