Danny's Studs (11/04/2008)
Squidge (11/04/2008)
My geeking tonight will be as usual, listen to some CD's. And i'll probably have a garlic baguette later and drink some coffee - one cup of which will be Whittards Creamy Chocolate Caramel Coffee*. I know that's a bit snobbish but i was intrigued by the shop in town so went in and found that too exciting to turn down. Rather nice it is too.

So right now i'm on Coldplay - Rush of Blood to the Head**. never listened it before, only just allowed myself to like them, as ESM rated them so highly.

Later on i will probably move on to some Johnny Cash***

* that's not coffee, that's a chocoloate fondant for men who love other men.

** amazing album of their finest work, no fillers whatsoever. Really good album, each song better than the last. Special mention for A Whisper.

*** cant go wrong.

Incorrect, there's only a slight difference in taste to normal coffee, but enough to notice. It's ace. You tart.

The Johnny Cash and Coldplay albums were bought together in the 2 for £10 offer at HMV - the Johnny Cash one is three cd's, everything he recorded at Sun Studios. 58 tracks. Not bad for a fiver!

Edit: This is it... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walking-Line-Legendary-Sun-Recordings/dp/B000B9G6R6/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1207939118&sr=8-17

Just did 6 miles in 38 mins flat. Later I shall be geeking with some good red wine and perhaps listening to some metal and playing along on the banjo.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Squidge I steadfastly refuse that it is close to tasting like normal coffee. I believe even milk in coffee is the equivalent of a beer shandy, so lets just agree to move on. You've been great til now. *deletes Squidge from Facebook*

I might astound you now Danny and say that I can't stand coffee. I know I'm probably not the only one but I really can't ever see myself drinking it. Think I'll be screwed if I ever go to USA

Coffee is great. It makes you smarter, it makes you happier, it gives you an excuse to spend time with someone you've just met. Water in coffee is overrated though. Just hot milk in coffee, that's the dogs bollocks.

I was having an argument with the girlfriend about who should brew the coffee each morning. She said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we won't have to wait as long to get our coffee." I said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that's your job, and I can just wait for my coffee." She replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it's in the Bible that the man should do the coffee." I said, "I don't believe you, show me." So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed me at the top of several pages, that it indeed says: "HEBREWS".

Nah, I'll stick to the tea. I'm just supping on a lovely cup of Tetley as we speak or type, whichever!
