Most of you will remember my rants against Barton in the past. Well, I am big enough to apologise when I'm wrong.

Like most of you I spent £8 on that shite on Saturday and Joey was the only one that, although he didn't play well, never stopped running  - even when we were 4-0 down.

I probably will never fully accept Joey as a player again after that debacle last year but  I cannot question his commitment and felt sorry that the only other player that followed his lead was a young lad making his debut.

Joey - I apologise - that should make you feel better !

I also have to agree with you Timps. I made some pretty harsh remarks about Joey on Manchester Online and a few on here after the first couple of games...but he is the only one playing for us...or at least he looks like he is playing for us...the fans
