There are quite a few teams in lower leagues who would rather be were we are than were they are. It may not be heaven, but at least it isn't hell!

Dont agree with this at all. Do any of these teams have 42000+ fans turning out to a match? With the same thing in mind; Portsmouth, Blackburn, Boro, Bolton all have sides competing for cups and europe now. Do their supporters deserve it? No, they deserve FA. Look at the turnout for last years UEFA fixtures, Boro never even close fillling their stadium.

City fans are gagging for some success, it has been a very long time between drinks. I do not wish to accept mediocrity from the MCFC institution.

I think the worst thing is, is that we need Maggie back at left back.

Now that is depressing

We definitely need some kind of improvement at left-back. Why did we sell Warrender?

Warrender was a right back i believe. Ok i admit Jordan was seriously at fault for the third yesterday but its not as if Dunney marshalled that defence at all and only Micah really came out with an credit for his performance out of the defenders. My major gripe is that the fans always get on Jordans back despiye him being exactly what city need right now, a born and bred blue who knows exactly what it means to pull on the blue shirt but because he lacks pace the fans don't want him and are now instead wanting maggie back we makes about as much sense Rio's little story bout how he forgot his drugs test

So it's ok to be crap if your heart is in the right place??

It's not just his lack of pace, if he had pace he may be able to pass as a decent player cos he'd be able to get back and cover up for lunging in and missing which he does all the time

I've never particularly rated Jordan. He is slow, poor in the tackle, lets the ball ove rhis head time and time again and can't get forward to supplement attacks

Jordon is poor, seems to commit himself to the floor when there is no cover and leaves us rather vulnerable.

He's too slow and should at best be a reserve player - just goes to show how crap our squad is right now.

BBC GMR invited Wardle to comment on the radio after yesterday's shambles and to explain where all the money has gone and guess what - he declined their offer.

Club should come out and make a statement IMO.

Well said Danny and Bert, both spot on.

Why people keep mentioning Fergie is beyond me, his career was in a different time. We can't afford to wait 5 years for it to be turned round. The club is on it's arse, when we win we will not want SP out, but then we lose again we will. That is not because we are fickle, just because we are City fans, whenever we win we think we have turned the corner! Even though we all know it doesn't work like that.

We ARE in a crisis, in every possible way. I won't say now that i want SP out, but i won't shed any tears if he goes tomorrow either, as much as i like him as a man. Blind faith will just fuck us up more, but loyalty is crucial. But so many people will not renew their tickets next year. And who can blame them? It is not because they don't love the club, it is because they know they are not getting value for money.

It's all going tits up and it hurts to see it, and to be involved in it.

The board have a decision to make. They either back SP 100% and find some funds for him (I still don't think he has the backing) or they get rid, bring someone else in and give them some funds.

It all boils down to money and if we don't have any then qustions need to be asked as to where the cash is all going and why no outside investors are being sought after, or why no outside investors see us as a viable attracation. I see lots of money people looking to buy into clubs these days and with 40000+ and the opposition accross the road, I would have thought we would be a very attractive proposition. Something doesn't add up here.

Bert Trautmanns neck brace (22/10/2006)
If I had a pound for every time my Dad said he would never support City ever again , I would be too rich to talk to you lot. He was always there next week or whenever and so will you be. If you are (were) ever a City Fan there is no divorce, no trial separations , you are in till the end. You can complain all you want but there is nothing you can do. Things are beyond your control. Even Bassman will give up the Cardigans before he will give up City.

Middlesboro next. No predictions just wait and see. It will be a win , loss or a draw.

Agreed mate, last Saturday after that piss poor perfomance i was more than prepared to miss Mondays game against Boro as i play pool on Mondays, but balls to that...........i'm going to the game as this is when the lads need us.
