After every bad result we allways get those more emotional of us calling for the managers head. Now is not a time to look for a scapegoat, now is the time to look for that special something that no other fans have quite like ours! And that my friends is our blind faith in our team and the hope that maybe one day we will come good and win something. For now we are in the doldrumns. Im not sure how long we will be there but I will never loose my love for the club or the players. I beleive in miracles, jesus you have to with city! I would however just once like to be able to hold my head up and say, we won that! I know that pearce seems to be stuttering in his career somewhat but its early days yet. As long as he keeps us up, im happy! Like all generals, commanders and brave warriors, pearce will save the day. I beleive that he can bring city the trophy's that we deserve. Lest we forget that ferguson had five or so years before he turned things arround. Pearce needs time. If we give him this time, he will not let us down!

Stuart, im one city fan whos is behind you 100%!!

There are quite a few teams in lower leagues who would rather be were we are than were they are. It may not be heaven, but at least it isn't hell!

The problem with giving Pearce, Wardle and Makin more time is that by december we will be down in the relegation battle and apart from the youngsters i can't see the senior players being able to battle out of it. Players like Distin and Barton dont want to play in the lower reaches of this league but don't understand the fact that it is there inconsistent displays and pure laziness on the field that are factors in us dropping down the table and Pearce doesnt seem to know how to motivate the players at all. Factor this in with the obviously poor level of coaching the players are receiving (If the long ball game we always seem to play isnt included in training why hasn't pearce beaten it out of them yet?) and it spells championship football next season whatever spin you but on it.

Maybe after over 30 years of being a yo-yo club the supporters are tired of watching city implode at every bright moment we feel is coming our way and now more than ever we need some serious effort from players who dont deserve to wear the blue shirts of city to prove to us that something is gonna happen that can but a smile back on our faces. Till then im neither watching city games on sky or attending COMS as a protest at thwe way the club is run from the chairman to the coaches to the players

Dont agree with this at all. Do any of these teams have 42000+ fans turning out to a match? With the same thing in mind; Portsmouth, Blackburn, Boro, Bolton all have sides competing for cups and europe now. Do their supporters deserve it? No, they deserve FA. Look at the turnout for last years UEFA fixtures, Boro never even close fillling their stadium.

City fans are gagging for some success, it has been a very long time between drinks. I do not wish to accept mediocrity from the MCFC institution.

If I had a pound for every time my Dad said he would never support City ever again , I would be too rich to talk to you lot. He was always there next week or whenever and so will you be. If you are (were) ever a City Fan there is no divorce, no trial separations , you are in till the end. You can complain all you want but there is nothing you can do. Things are beyond your control. Even Bassman will give up the Cardigans before he will give up City.

Middlesboro next. No predictions just wait and see. It will be a win , loss or a draw.

you do not mess with Jack Reacher

I think the worst thing is, is that we need Maggie back at left back.

Now that is depressing

We definitely need some kind of improvement at left-back. Why did we sell Warrender?
