| | Neds scores for the U21's-get in. Also, I really like the phrase Montenegrins.Nedum Onuoha was the unlikely first name on the scoresheet for England Under 21s last night as they enjoyed a 3-0 away victory over Montenegro. It was the Montenegrins first competitive home match following their independence from Serbia and the opening game in the race to qualify for the 2009 UEFA European Championships. England dominated from start to finish and it was our very own Nedum Onuoha who headed the Young Lions into the lead after six minutes following a James Milner corner. It was double joy for the Newcastle man as he celebrated passing Scott Carson's record of most appearances for the Under 21s in his 30th game. Aston Villa's Gabby Agbonlahor rounded off a good week for himself, after scoring the second goal against Chelsea last weekend, he was on hand for England's second after just 10 minutes. Stuart Pearce's side, which included Joe Hart in goal, could take their foot off the gas in the second half and despite some pressure from the home side England made it 3-0 in the final minute. Southampton's Gareth Surman wrapped up the game after a swift move started by Hart's long throw. Afterwards, the former Blues boss said: "It was a good workmanlike performance, we're delighted with the result. Montenegro will cause people problems in the group, that's for sure. "We've done half a job, we go to Bulgaria [on Tuesday] and that is all we are focused on."
