Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey hopes to star against Germany to prove a point to Manchester City after claiming he quit the club because they gave Kasper Schmeichel preferential treatment.
Wolves shot-stopper Hennessey, 20, is set to win his fourth cap for Wales in Saturday's Group D Euro 2008 qualifier in Cardiff.
But the youngster, who kept a record nine successive clean sheets on loan at Stockport last term, rapped: "If I'd stayed at Man City I wouldn't even have been playing.
"Kasper is a few months older and they thought he was better but you could see his dad was forcing him."

So they thought Kasper was better?  Well football's all about opinions and there are plenty of players who have been down the pecking order at clubs, and moved on.  I don't know where the report gets this 'preferential treatment' accusation from, seems as usual they are twisting things into a bit more of a story than it actually is.  I'm also not quite sure what his point is about Schmeichel Sr 'forcing' young Kasper, who has got his reward with his chance in the first team.
