Playing the bass is easy. All you have to do is join in with everyone else.
We have to get it right though, because if we fuck up, then it throws everybody else out. We are like the midfield. If your midfield can't win the ball, then your team ain't going to win. 
But it must be easy to get it right. It has two strings less than a real guitar and you only have to pluck one string at a time.
I know your winding me up. It's not easy to get right, especially if your an incredibly talented band like we are, constantly switching rhythms and timeetc.
Have you ever considered converting your band into a wedding band? You'd have to play the 'Birdie Song' and the Kylie one that goes 'Na-Na-Na', but you'd make heaps of cash if you're good.

It's not easy to get right, especially if your an incredibly talented band like we are, constantly switching rhythms and time etc. Surely if you were so talented then it would indeed be easy? We're constantly pushing ourselves to become even better. If you play something dead easy all the time, then it could become a bit boring. So that's why you cover "My Favourite Game"? A song that you called (paraphrasing) brilliant in it's simplicity? We play that because we just love the song. It's not our fault it's quite simple is it? |
