Carrick, what the fuck is he for ?

He doesn't run, doesn't tackle, doesn't hassle opposing players  - half of his passes don't come off   I'd have Parker in there instead

Carrick is okay.  Despite appearances to the contrary on Saturday, he is a very good passer off either foot.  His problem is (aside from now being red) is the size of his transfer fee which was ridiculous and which raises everyones expectations and the idea that he is some sort of defensive holding player, which given his inability to tackle he is obviously not.

However, I agree with your call on Parker who, when not injured, is a really good player.  Lots of energy, good tackler but alos able to get forward and score goals.

£18 million pounds of talent there.  United got a bargain.

I'd much prefer to see Parker in there. The way he breaks up play is fantastic. We really missed Hargreaves on Saturday

This isn't a dig at Hargreaves, but his absense wasn't the reason we failed to score, surely?
