| | When you choose the option to delete a post it informs you that if it is the route post, all other posts will be deleted. So for example if I deleted the first post from the 8-ball thread (no subject) everything will disappear. Can we not have it how it was on the other forum where you could only delete a thread when there were no replies? Sometimes good threads come out of not very good original subjects and if some petulant poster decided to delete it we'd lose a lot of good work. If that poster desired to have the post removed he could delete it in Edit and still the thread would remain. If it was so bad I'm sure you guys have the power to remove it. Cheers

| I didn't realise it was different on this version, but I'd also like people to be able to delete their own posts without being able to take the whole thread down. If that isn't possible then as Cooder says they can edit the content and leave a blank post if necessary.
