So the Real president thinks that Chelsea and Roman are bad for the game, pushing up transfer fees and potentially leaving clubs in debt.

Is this bloke talking sense or is it just sour grapes??

I don't see how anyone connected with Real Madrid can say a peep about high transfer fees

They stil hold the two highest ever fees don't they? (Figo and Zidane)

Sour grapes is probably high on the list but what he said has some resonance.

Real through their operations ,marketing etc,are the wealthiest club in terms of income yet they cannot compete with The Bank of Abramovich.

We all know that the game is leveraged in favour of wealth, it is not a level playing field, hence the bitching.

The national bank of Spain bailed them out countless times by writing off loans if I recall correctly

Just bitterness that they are no longer top of the food chain when it comes to transfer fees.  What he said is absolutely spot on, but how he of all people has the gall to come out and say that publicly while conveniently forgotten the benefits his own club has previously enjoyed is beyond me.

Very true. would be like Kenyon coming out and accusing another club of making illagal approaches for players. Tough shit in my opinion
