| | Two of my Everton-supporting chums have been in this morning and they can't believe the fuss about Barton's bottom. Most of the Everton fans around them thought it was hilarious and they're ashamed that a couple of idiots went to the trouble of telling the Bizzies. How times have changed, though. I remember when Mike Summerbee was playing, he used to bare his cheeks every chance he got and everyone took it as fun. The world is a worse place.

| 20 years ago, if somebody did what Barton did, people would have all had a laugh about it. These days your talking about fines, police, bans etc. What's all this bullshit about. Where did it go wrong? I think the world lost it the day they changed the name from Marathon to Snickers. Things just haven't been the same since. |
