No. Big Ginger Bloke. He is very assured and commanding. A bit like Dunne.

Don't be. It was fucking awful! The only highpoint was Katherine Jenkins singing the Welsh National Anthem.

I'll be there on Wednesday for the Slovakia game.

The game was indeed dire. Hamann was commenting at half-time on the game.

Probably the biggest contribution to fotball from him this season.

What a load of crap!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/internationals/6494113.stm

Lee Carsley has denied hinting that Steve Staunton gave few instructions to his Republic of Ireland team before Saturday's win against Wales.

Following the unimpressive 1-0 victory, Carsley was quoted as saying: "He just named the team, and didn't really go through any roles to be honest."

Staunton has been accused of being tactically naive but Carsley insists that preparations were "fantastic".

It was a shambolic performance and even though it was a deserved victory, it was a shite game by the Irish. "Fantastic"??? Preparations? Looked like he just put 11 players on the pitch and hoped they would do their best.

It was shite and the Republic of Ireland were very poor. The Welsh were even worse. Only Belamy looked dangerous. Giggs was missing for most of the game.

However, this is a terrible group and I wouldn't be surprised if ROI sneaked into 2nd place and qualified.

well done stevie  - he played really well  - does he have an english grandmother ?

He also qualifies to play for England and Italy. England we reportedly interested following his spat with Kerr.
