I feel me might be better playing with Big Sam and Dickov up front and dropping Corradi into a midfield role in place of  Hamman.

I also have a niggling worry that we only have 4 deffenders available - if we get an injury we'll have to play someone out of position or bring Mills back from Hull.

Why?

Corradi and Samaras played well together, both worked hard and appeared to be getting an understanding so FFS why would you now change them?  Why would you  replace Hamman, who did okay on Saturday and , if you have to, why replace him with an out of position striker and not use Dabo (who is now back from suspension I think), or Reyna, or Ireland or any other midfielder.....   typical City ...change a wining formula?

Corradi and Sam seems to work - I'd leave it  - but I woudl bring in Dabo to cover cahill

Reyna can stay at home

He is available again, the Chesterfield game was included in the suspension.

I thought Corradi worked hard and played most of the game in a forward midfield role - he did link up with Samaras well but never looked like scoring himself or threatening.  He impressed me with his work rate, but he's not going to be a 20 goal a season striker.

Points taken on board but if that's your logic then why Dickov? he's never gonna be a 20 goal a season striker, barely even a 70 minute-a-match player anymore! Not sure he's even had  shot yet this season! So whilst your points and logic make sense, the replacement doesn't. I'd stick with it.

See your point completely - I would have opted for Vassel and Sam, but seeing as though Vassel isn't fit, didn't think I had much alternative - I can see the point in keeping the team the same for game V Everton, was just really thinking out loud for the future and possibly something to try at home against a not so strong team. Our depth in squad does worry me (in all areas)to only have 4 fit defenders at the moment is scary - God knows what happens if we get another injury / suspension.

Maybe with Samaras's confidence up, the whole team lifted, we'll see a more positive up tempo approach to the Everton Game -
