| I thought that Didi looked very slow and this affected his tackling - especially late on in the game - this could be costly as we don't defend very well against free kicks - as you may or may not have noticed

| Timpblue (25/09/2006) I thought that Didi looked very slow and this affected his tackling - especially late on in the game - this could be costly as we don't defend very well against free kicks - as you may or may not have noticedWe still look a bit dodgy at both ends IMO. Can't defend set pieces and can't seem to score the scrappy goals that you need to win matches, the two Samaras goals were just top draw but they don't happen week in, week out. One positive is that Weaver does boss the box from corners etc better than James ever did.

| so why, when the smallest of our defenders is nearly six foot - do we have a problem against set pieces, it's got to be organisation hasn't it ?

| Timpblue (25/09/2006) so why, when the smallest of our defenders is nearly six foot - do we have a problem against set pieces, it's got to be organisation hasn't it ?I think the defencive problem really came to a head against Chesterfield.Stating the obvious there. The defencive display against Arse was outstanding.Once confidence falls though players overcompensate and cover for each other .Hence Weaver coming for a ball that was never going to be his at Chesterfield.Organisation breaks down and nerves cause errors. A couple of decent displays should hopefully turn that around. The knock on effect further up the pitch comes into play IMO and what were offencive players in midfield turn into defenders.Everyone is on the back foot.We go literally back wards.

| Make sure you do then you can take responsibility for another resounding win. But if you don't and we lose it's ALL your fault
