| | Agreed Cooder, and a rubbish coach too. But who would we have in charge? I'm honestly struggling to come up with the name of someone who'd be prepared to do it and be any good.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

I think you need to insert 'English' after the 'someone' in your comment Cloudy. If McClown is the best we've got to lead the senior squad, and TBH, SP the best to coach the U21's, ?I fear for the future of English national footy. The sooner all the geriatric twats at Soho Square pop their clogs the fucking better.

What foreign coach would we go for though? O'Neill maybe?

| What foreign coach would we go for though? O'Neill maybe? I'd have gone for Hiddink in the summer. But Abramovich bought him for Russia (and maybe Chelsea). I think there are good English managers around but none of them are given a chance at the top English clubs. So none of them have any experience of playing European football or dealing with the egos of so called superstars. |
