Did Benicassim in Spain last year - camping in the blazing sun was a bit of a challenge but its a mint festival. Doesn't finish until half seven in the morning. Might give this a bash this year: http://www.exitfest.org/ But I've just noticed The Cardigans on the bill so might have to give it a miss. Didn't think The Magnificent Cardies were playing any gigs at all this year, because they are just starting work on their next album. Another thing, The Manics are going to release their new album soon, and it's believed one of the singles, maybe even the lead single on it, is a duet between James Dean Bradfield and Nina Persson. Ooh I like her! She did that 99 Red balloons didn't she?
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

| I'll be going to Oxegen and maybe the Electric Picnic. I'll have to give Download a miss this year.

| Did oxygen a couple of years ago when Muse and the Darkness played. Pissed it down all weekend but had a craicing time. Strangest thing was listening to all the weird Irish radio stations as we were driving to Punchestown.

Fecked off home after Muse as I thought the Darkness would be an anti-climax. Were you listening to community radio stations? I live in the sticks myself but some of these places take the piss. Father Ted is like a social documentary to them.

| Myself and a few friends got our confirmation emails through for the Glasto registration so hopefully we have a shot at getting tickets. Not been to a festival since 2004 T in the park so I'm really looking forward to it

One was broadcasting a cake-tasting competition. This was followed by a incomprehensible "comedian" guest in the studio who had the old boy presenting the show in stitches, while we looked uncomfortably at each other and wondered what we'd let ourselves in for.

Now that's good radio
