Timpblue (19/09/2006) Of the 50 games SP has been in charge he has lost 26 - don't know how many draws - but that ain't a good statNo. In fact that is pretty shocking! Since January this year we've played 28 games thus far, (friendlies excluded), and we've won 8 games, 3 of wich were in the FA cup. Now that is a fucking disgrace. Aye, but didn't Everton have a similar run the calander year before last? (when they eventually scraped into the CL)
It's not good, but still too early to be decisive.
Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking when I hear the silly things that you say |

| Timpblue (19/09/2006) It's relegation material whichever way you look at itThe board can't let this go on forever, the fact that this shite run of form spreads over 2 seasons seems to have clouded some peoples vision to what is a shocking run of form.

Hang on, half the personel changed at the ened of last season!! last season is done and gone!! See thats the issue with statistics and how you cut them. You can only compare results from this season, your only as good as your last game or current season. Its not a valid comparison, if you ask me and something a paper would quote to rubbish a teams performance. Every season is different with different players

| Stuart Pearce has accepted full responsibility for City’s exit from the Carling Cup at Chesterfield. The Blues were stunned by a second-half revival by the home side, after taking the lead through Georgios Samaras before the break. Pearce said: “As I always say, we came here prepared for this game but we have not won so the manager has to take the stick for that. I will, there's no problem there. “I've told the players that the only thing they can do is draw closer together, learn by this, and try to win the next game. “I've got a perception in my own mind that I am big enough to take anything that comes my way. You have to, that's the nature of professional football. You are only as good as your last result and tonight was not good enough. I'm bitterly disappointed that we did not win tonight, because once we got our noses in front we should have gone on and won the game. “The first person that takes the flak is Stuart Pearce, that's always been the way with me and when I walk away from here tonight I'm the one who should take the criticism, not the players. They gave me everything tonight but we have to work harder on the training pitch and that starts again on Thursday. “I believe I work fairly hard at the moment, but I’m going to have to work harder and instil some confidence in the players.” I thought we would start winning games once we got in front? Shame that we could only get in front against the run of play against a team near the bottom of the old 3rd Division Not good enough Stuart...you or the players

| I don't think it matters who is in charge, unless the players start earning their money, there isn't a thing SP or anyone else can do. The club has suffered after the KK era and it isn't coming back. Due to crazy money and the influx of foreign 'talent' City is now being left behind and I can't see that changing too quickly.
