Don't know if anyone has already posted this (it is yesterdays news!) but the FA Cup tie and game vs Portsmouth have both been moved, though the Sheff Wed one isn't for TV purposes.

The Club can this afternoon confirm the date and time of the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON Third Round tie against Sheffield Wednesday.

The game will take place at Hillsborough, kicking off at 3pm on Sunday January 7, 2007.

With both Sheffield clubs drawn at home that weekend, it was our game which was selected to move.

The match will not be televised and as was determined on Monday, we will have 4,000 tickets for the game, with prices set at £19 for adults and £10 for concessions. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, keep checking the mcfc.co.uk ticket pages over the next couple of days for sales criteria.

Another bit of fixture news today has seen our fixture with Portsmouth on February 10 have the kick off time changed from 3pm to 5.15pm.

Ah, from 3.00pm to 5.15pm. That's another £8 of your hard earned spent on PremPlus. And how come we've only been allocated 4000 tickets for Hillsborough? Garbage.

Is it 15% for an FA Cup game? Hillsborough holds 40,000 doesn't it? I make that 6,000 we should have!

Something will snap eventually, the discontent of the fans shown by the drop in attendances will force clubs into doing something. At best there are now just 5 prem games at 3 on a sat afternoon. The city fans that travel down can look forward to getting home at midnight at the earliest.
