Just to pick up on a couple of points that have been made, Hamann was shit, whatever the reason, he was ineffective.

The stats mean nothing, anyone who saw the game could see we were shite.

As for the cintinous comments about how tight the league is, that's because the premier league is shite with low quality football, has been for a long time. It beggers belief that anyone could call it the best league in the world

Hamann showed two very contrasting sides last night. His first touch was shite, but after he settled he started to put his foot on the ball and distribute it. I rememer efveral times he passed it wide or through the middle and made us look more organised.

Then for whatever reasn he went shite and played that back pass over Dunne's head. Although Distin didn't help things by just heading it on in panic mode when Thatcher was there to pass it too...........

Anyway Hamann was good and bad last night, so that's better than most played!
