Why have they changed so many games from 3 o'clocks? We haven't had a 3 o'clock home game since mid-October and we haven't got another till 2 days before christmas.

Because they seem to want to bleed football dry and they see this as the best way of making money. It has worked for them to be fair. They're still killing the game they helped make though

They didn't make it. Football was around decades before Sky came along. Back before Sky, crowds were bigger, competition was fairer and football was the working man's game

Ok then, they are the killing the game they helped resurrect, and the modern game they helped make.

The moving of the kick off times was the main reason i gave up my season ticket, i got sick of going on a monday, sat teatime or whenever.

I think there will be a backlash by the clubs eventually even with the amount of sky money they recieve, your average man can no longer afford to go, how many watford fans will want to travel up here on a monday night. It will take a boycott by away fans at such fixtures as this for the mesage to get through to the clubs that they are sick of being messed about by sky. Why do you pay a subscription fee and then have to stump up more cash to watch PPV games, the derby this weekend is on PPV which is a disgrace, if you pay a subscription you should expect to see a game like this. I am sick of seeing richard keys and andy gray harking on about it being the best league in the world when in reality attendances are down the football is getting worse and the national team is in decline due to the foreigners in the league. Are you listening sky- we have had enough.

The whole sky thing is a total pain in the arse, Monday nights, Sunday games, games being played at fucking breakfast time, it's a joke. The sad thing is that without Murdoch's millions, we'd be fucked.

We were having this discussion in the pub on Saturday night. It's getting stupid now. 3pm on Saturday, that's football time.

he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Looks like attendances could be set to drop even further

The reading chairman John Madesjki has predicted that in 10-15 years all prem clubs will be owned by foreign investors, it will soon be wall to wall corporate hospitality for the super rich and the only way you will be able to watch is by paying extortionate PPV prices. Football is no longer the domain of the working man ,and although i am not against progression something must be done to stop the likes of abramovich from inflating football way out of the reach of the general public.

The ultimate problem for those who run the game is that without a solid support base, the big money doesn't follow. The big corporate dollars are drawn to the game because the large fan base translates to massive exposure. Alienate the core supporters and the giant's feet turns to clay. It won't happen overnight, but once it does the process takes a long time to reverse.
