Man City v Fulham
Man City v Fulham

There is a lot of speculation over Sven-Goran Eriksson's position as City manager, but I think if he gets the team into the top 10 he deserves recognition for doing a good job.

I expect City to beat Fulham, despite them being a little bit short defensively. The Cottagers look to be doomed to suffer relegation - last week's defeat by Liverpool was their nadir.

Verdict: 2-1

IF? Has he even looked at the league table recently. It's impossible, mathematically, for us not to finish in the top 10. Spunk-gargler.

There is a lot of speculation over that Swedish blokes position as City manager, but I think if he gets the team into the top 10 he just deserves to keep his job even though i hate to say it.

Despite my undeniable hatred of them, i expect City to beat Fulham, despite them being a little bit short defensively. The Cottagers look to be doomed to suffer relegation - last week's defeat by my beloved Liverpool was their nadir.

Hark at Lawro using fancy words like "nadir".

Liverpool v Man City
Kick-off 1600 BST
Liverpool v Man City

The big teams are always playing big games; and Liverpool will not have a hangover from the Champions League defeat to Chelsea in midweek. If they lose a game they come back and win; that's why they are in the top four.

Defensively, City are all over the place. The Sven-Goran Eriksson situation at the club won't help and they are crazy if they will let him go as I think he has done a good job.

Verdict: 2-1

I don't even have the energy to have a go at Lawro today

At least he's changed his opinion of Sven at the start of the season he'd blamed him for the demise of English football. How his tune has been changed.

He is still a nob-chomper all the same.

Cometh the man cometh the wig....
