PLAYER OF THE SEASON - DUNNE

YOUNG PLAYE - FERNANDES

TEAM - B+

MANAGER - B+

JOE HART - B - excellent 1st proper season in the big league...fantastic shot stopper and great distribution...not great at popping balloons though...definate future england no.1

VEDRAN CORLUKA - B - Great versatility, can dribble and plays with composure, but for me is better played as a full back rather than centre half...oh and half good in the midfield too.

RICHARD DUNNE - A - Again the best player this season for me. Needs to curb the hoofing a little bit, but pound for pound the best defender in the premiership

MICAH RICHARDS B(+) - Plagued with injury, but how we have missed him, as fast as lightning, tough to the tackle...just keep him away from the sunday carvery...as he likes a roast or two

MICHEAL BALL - B(-) - Tried hard and succeeded to get back into the team, trusted full back...good solid season, again crap with balloons though

NEDUM ONOUHA - B - Turning into a solid defender, tough tackler and steady nerves..centre half rather than a full back to me....

JAVIER GARRIDO - C - Had a stinker against Chelsea and looks a better attacker than defender....good 1st season overall

GELSON FERNANDES - B(-). If only he had more composure to back up his tireless energy...He's only 22 though and a workhorse...I like the lad and think he's done well

DIETMAR HAMANN - B - Is showing his age at times....but with age comes wisdom...he loves a tackle and knows how to win free-kicks is there any work left in this old horse?

MICHEAL JOHNSON - C - He's been hit or miss all season, when he has freedom to play he is good, but under pressure his distribution is lousy and his passing poor, if he can stay injury free he may improve

STEPHEN IRELAND - B(+) - He's played everywhere im midfield, he doesnt have the pace to play wide, but he's a clever player. he knows how to play a good through ball and has chipped in with some good goals and deserved to play every week IMO....get rid of the wig and the pants though stevie to be sure...oh and that car...WTF

MARTIN PETROV - A(-) where i sit they all think he's a lazy b'stard..but one things for sure he frightens the beejesus out of most full backs and i love the way he plays....

ELANO - B - Have to give him a B overall as i think he has returned to play the old elano way..and was outstanding 1st half of the season, he needs to toughen up a little and stop giving away petty free-kicks.

GEOVANNI - C(-) I just dont get him.....one minute a pocket genius the next minute playing so defensive....not the greatest tackler and a little lazy for me.

BENJANI - B(-) Mr offside as i call him......if he could time his runs better and stop making silly mistakes in front of goal he could have scored 6 or 7 by now. All the same he knows the back of the net and he's the best we have upfront at the mo

CAECIDO - C - Ole crazy legs....he's one scary big bastard and although we have only seen glimpses he looks like a good un

STURRIDGE - B(-) -  Im sure he wonders what he has to do, he's got good pace, can score but i think he needs his cockiness kicking out of him, step up Richard Dunne please...

CASTILLO - C - Lightweight but skillful, we need to see a lot more of him methinks....

VASSELL - B(+) - Understated and undervalued....I think city need players like vassell who get stuck in and make no fuss or bones....his best season for city thus far.

Cometh the man cometh the wig....

Why? I strongly dsagree. All the best players have that air about them (eg. Drogba, Ronaldo), you have to know you are good to be good. I dont think its cockiness, more confidence. A striker needs confidence when he plays otherwise there is doubt in his mind as to wether he will score. Sturridge knows he will score... And does.

I robbed yours and Edited it!!

PLAYER OF THE SEASON - HART

YOUNG PLAYER - FERNANDES

TEAM – B-

MANAGER - B+

JOE HART – A- excellent 1st proper season in the big league, made some great saves...fantastic shot stopper and great distribution...not great at popping balloons though and the odd flap...definite future England no.1

VEDRAN CORLUKA – B  Great versatility, can dribble and plays with composure, but for me is better played as a full back rather than centre half...oh and half good in the midfield too.

RICHARD DUNNE - B  Solid as ever, needs to concentrate for 94 mins though,  Needs to curb the hoofing, but pound for pound the best defender in the premiership, and he carries a few around too.

MICAH RICHARDS B(+) - Plagued with injury, but how we have missed him, as fast as lightning, tough to the tackle...just keep him away from the sunday carvery...as he likes a roast or two. Feel we loose attacking options on a vacant right side with him in the middle.

MICHEAL BALL - C(+) Tried hard and succeeded to get back into the team, trusted full back...good solid season. Not a center half though.

NEDUM ONOUHA – C(+) Turning into a solid defender, tough tackler and steady nerves. Quick as fook, Not a center half though.

JAVIER GARRIDO – C(+)  Had a stinker against Chelsea and looks a better attacker than defender....good 1st season overall, would have like to see play left mid when Petrov was out!!

GELSON FERNANDES – B  If only he had more composure to back up his tireless energy...He's only 22 though and a workhorse...I like the lad and think he's done well

DIETMAR HAMANN - B (-) Is showing his age at times....but with age comes wisdom...he loves a tackle and knows how to win free-kicks is there any work left in this old horse? Picks up too many yellows, not good at 90 mins now.

MICHEAL JOHNSON – B(-) He's been consistent for me, when he has freedom to play he is good, but works very hard defensively at times, if he can stay injury free he will improve for sure.

STEPHEN IRELAND - C(+) - He's played everywhere in midfield, he doesn’t have the pace to play wide, but he's a clever player at times, rubbish others and over complicates things too often. Needs to be more consistent and been poor second half of the year.

MARTIN PETROV - A(-) Cant tackle for toffee, and a bit of a pansy at times dangling his leg at people. Gets wound up far too easily and needs to take people on more. Great attacking and driving into the box when put through. Scored some great goals.

ELANO – B(-) Started so quickly out of the blocks and some cracking goals and on fire before his injury. Lost his way when he came back, just started to show what he could do again as the season ran out. Great goals before Christmas though.

GEOVANNI – C Not seen enough really, looks great at coming on, but crap defensively. Can certainly play a decent ball or two and not afraid to shoot.

BENJANI - B(+) He is Mr offside......if he could time his runs better and stop making silly mistakes in front of goal he could have scored 6 or 7 by now. He works his bollocks off though and he knows where the back of the net is and he's the best we have upfront at the mo. Needs to be more selfish at times.

CAECIDO - C - Ole crazy legs....he's one scary big bastard and although we have only seen glimpses.

STURRIDGE - B(-) -  Im sure he wonders what he has to do, he's got good pace, can score but i think he needs his cockiness kicking out of him, step up Richard Dunne please...

CASTILLO - C(–) Too Lightweight, and not at all convinced. Have him till Jan, but would not pay 500k at this point in time!!

VASSELL - B(+) - Understated and undervalued....I think city need players like vassell who get stuck in and make no fuss or bones....his best season for city thus far.

SUN – D Clearly not good enough, must do better or get rid. Tries hard, but cost us points.

BIANCHI – B(-) Never understood why he couldn’t get a start, clearly something not right. Maybe if Sven goes he may return.

BOJINOV Null – Who?

EMPENZA C(-) What happened to him?

LOGAN – Looked quick and lively, but needs experience, one for the future.

ETUHU – Again, quick, lively, would like to see him play more.

Feliz Año Neuvo

Surely if you've given Corluka a higher mark than Fernandes he should be Young Plaer? [ /pedantry]

can't agree about Johnno.

Very true. I find it absurd when someone is asking for a player to lose his self confidence... Its crazy i tells ya!
