Good albums?

You won't go far wrong with

Depeche Mode - "Violator"

and

Pixies - Doolittle

Do you think it's better than Surfer Rosa and Come On Pilgrim though?

I recommend Stop Making Sense and Fear Of Music by Talking Heads.

And I'd add to that 77 and Speaking in Tongues.

Psycho Killer Qu'est-ce que c'est? fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better

I Heart that song. and I never say heart lightly. I dont throw my hearts around willy nilly.

Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany!

Probably my favourite Talking Heads album. Not everyone's cup of tea though. Everyone loves Stop Making Sense though.

I haven't heard Speaking In Tongues. The only other albums I've got is Blind, which isn't great and More Songs About Buildings And Food which is.

I recommend Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks - Pig Lib. Bloke out of Pavement yewknow.

"Nobody likes my shoes! I made... I made fifty... fucking vol-au-vents, and not one of you... not one of you... said "Thank you." And my favourite: "Everybody, shut up. Shut up! This song is all about me."

Speaking in Tongues is the studio album they had out at the time of the live stop making sense show. If you've seen the actual concert on dvd then you've heard all but maybe 1 or 2 tracks of speaking in tongues. Has to be the dvd though and not the record, cuz that only has about a third of the actual gig on it. Get speaking in tongues, and if you haven't got the dvd of stop making sense, get that too. I order you. Do it. Do it now.

Get some Springsteen Gibbi. Born to Run is an excellent album.

Interpol as well, any of their albums. And some Stephen Fretwell, you have to get some Fretwell. The man's brilliant

I have got the dvd of Stop Making Sense and it's flipping exceptional. I haven't got Speaking In Tongues but I might just bloody download it right now.

Just got Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance. And two Black Box Recorder albums. And Songs About Fucking by Big Black. I'll keep everyone updated don't worry.

The Smiths – The Queen Is Dead
Sex Pistols – Never Mind The Bollocks…

Too often, we lose sight of lifes simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and bitch-slap that mother....pass it on.
