Not a bad player but too slow for the Prem.
I think we are past signing players like him. He's more Bolton's type of player now.Beckham is shown pace is not everything in the premiership. I dont think he is a bad player, and to be so young still (just turned 26) and getting into the spanish national side is great improvment on his behalf. Would you agree we need another left winger though? Yes, I agree with that, he improved a lot since he went back to Espanyol. I believe he did not play that bad when he first came as loan. I will be happy to see him in the team, then we will have 2 good left winger with Petrov  . |

We definitely need cover on the left, but I don't think Riera's that player. Too slow, as was said up there ^^^.
Maybe Weiss will be the cover on the left next season?I think he plays as right winger? |

That's a deep-lying striker, a left-back and a striker really isn't it? Right wing's got to be the priority anyway.

| We need cover in several positions, but as already said, Riera was way too slow. As MRAMB has said, our priority in the summer has to be the right wing.

I dont think pace has anything to do with it if know how to use your brain. Ali Bernabia was the slowest footballer ive seen but he knew how to get round it.I agree pace isn't everything especially if you're a central midfielder, but a winger needs pace surely?
