| | Guardian reports more good behavior by the stand up citizen. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,1872018,00.html This provoked AVFC fans in the area. He was ushered away by a female steward and he responded with all the grace that comes so naturally to him by calling her a fucking slag, pushing her and continuing to abuse her verbally. She has discussed the incident with the police, and no investigation will result. The matter will be handled by the FA (sorry if someone else has posted this, couldn't see it)

| No, I hadn't seen that before WP. Seems like the Guardian are just trying to put the boot in on 'ill-disciplined City' which seems to be a common hobby at the moment. You could almost smell the glee with which that article was written.

| Just read the article while I was haveing my lunch. Why has it taken so long for the story to come out? If Barton did behave as badly as is claimed, why was he not puniched at the time?
Something doesn't add up here.
