Agreed. I saw them live in the early nineties when they were touring with Blood Sugar Sex Magic. Superb. As was everything before then. Alas it just got worse from then on. Just goes to show. Drugs might not be good for you but they sure help when writing music.

| I had tickets to see them at Manchester Academy on that tour, Oct 91 ot thereabouts. the fuckers cancelled to do an appearance on TOTP instead. Twats. Next time I saw them was at Reading 94 and they'd started with their new watered down mundane sound which they've continued to this day. Dicks. A couple of RHCP t shirts were burnt on camp fires that night.
