| | Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is ready to hand an SOS to under pressure Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini.
Controcampo says Eriksson is planning to rescue his former Sampdoria star from the deteriorating situation at Inter by offering him the assistant manager's job at City.
Talk of a move to City kicked off after Mancini's blow-up with fans following defeat at Liverpool. It's emerged that sources close to Mancini have not rejected the speculation, suggesting the deal remains on track.
Sounds like a good idea to me - when Svennis decides to toddle off into the sunset we cen put Roberto in charge and his kid up front
