RED Dwarf star Daniel John-Jules was arrested yesterday on suspicion of attacking two bin men with a samurai sword.
The actor, 47, who starred as The Cat in the BBC sci-fi comedy, allegedly assaulted the men outside his home in London.
A witness said: "I saw him out in the street shouting at the bin men and waving the sword around.
"The next thing I spotted was the two bin men sitting in the back of an ambulance looking really shocked and upset.
"The police arrived and arrested him while he was still wearing his dressing gown."
The Veolia Environmental Services bin men were last night being treated in hospital.
Red Dwarf regularly attracted millions of viewers in the 1980s and 1990s. John-Jules has since starred in several films, including Little Shop Of Horrors and Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.
He currently plays Milton Wordsworth in the Cbeebies children's show Story Makers.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A man was arrested in Whitmore Gardens, London, and is in custody."No mention of Blade 2 ? Or was it 3? Was there even a 3? oh I cant remember. I think there was a 3, yes, though I didn't see that one. Why is it that I can't not check imdb? He was in Blade II. Because you're thorough*, Benny. I thought I might have heard of him being in that, but don't remember him. *anal
