Police investigating corruption within professional football have raided a Premier League club. Officers swooped at Birmingham City FC earlier, a spokeswoman for City of London Police said.
She said it was part of an "ongoing investigation into football corruption".
The club said the inquiry concerned "an unconnected third party or third parties" and it was co-operating with the police investigation.
It said no-one connected with the club had been questioned or arrested.
