Last win at home we played 4-4-2 after going 2-1 behind. We then won 4-2. Im happy enough playing the 4-5-1 formation away from home, as home teams will attack us.

But at on our turf we have to play 4-4-2

I'd like to see us try 4-4-2, especially now Johnson's fit.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Sven's tactical prowess

Sven is great at building a team and at creating a team spirit.

His tactical prowess on the other side is a joke.(compared to other great coaches)

A lot of people know that. Just look at his time as England's team manager.

so don't be surprised if he fails the test.

hey nice one nice to see optimisson on the forum. for gods sake were safe, eighth , yeah were on a bad run but everybody has one some of the other teams around us have yet to have theres so lets get behind the team instead of having a go

Everton and Wigan both made it difficult for us to play by getting men behind the ball and stifling the midfield. Wigan were extremely compact yesterday - left us fuck all space to operate in and we didn't have the answer. Spurs in the Carling Cup did exactly the same thing too.

I wouldn't like to guess what Sven's plan B is. If the opposition puts everyone behind the ball even the very best sides can struggle. This will be an interesting test of Sven tactical prowess.

Totally agree, we are the side who miss chances of winning, because we control most of the games that we played against a lower rank in the league.
