| What's anyone think about this - single seater racing cars decked out in football clubs' colours:

I'm a bit of a motor racing nut myself (I'm afraid football's second to F1 in my world), and from a motorsport perspective the series looks exactly like the million other single seater championships around that no-one watches.
They basically seem to be banking on football fans watching a sport they're not that interested in solely because there's a car painted in their team's colours. Surely that's not going to appeal to that many people is it? If City had a ping pong team I might watch them once or twice, but I wouldn't be going to matches or paying to see it on Sky.
One thing that surprises me is the lack of English teams - the whole operation appears to be a big marketing gimmick designed to sell 'the brand' to people. I'd have thought pretty well every team above us would have jumped at the chance.
