I have a slight liking for Reading cos Shaun Goater enjoyed his little sojourn there. and cos they were quite entertaining when they came up, and cos i like the idea of a bloke putting money into his town and doing okay.

But its all wearing a bit thin now.

And Steve Coppell deserves some bad luck too

I think i'm now happy for them to be a handy cushion between us and the drop zone...

My ex-GF was a Reading fan, vicariously I should say as her Dad and brother were, she doesnt even like football. While on holiday last season (or season before?) in Mallorca they beat us 1 - nil and I had proper grump on. That was an interesting story. Reading I couldnt give a toss about but the fans are extremely loyal, they love em, I'll give em that. Never been tom the Madejski myself.
