Instead of staying on after the game to relay his views and opinions on an emotion filled derby the United manager was nowhere to be found.

Was he overcome by the occasion ? Or imposing his usual no interview policy?

Nope - he left the ground straight after the game to promote the United teams tour of South Africa next summer

Never let it be said the United let sentiment get in the way of profit
