| Can anyone tell me how UEFA cup positions work? If we finish 7th and someone above us wins both Carling and FA Cup do we get in? Does 8th? I can never remember...

| Depends who gets in the cup finals? Say anyone in 1st -6th got into the cup finals, which Chelsea have, then an extra place is free in the league because they're in the Champo League. The amount of additional league placesmdepends on where the cup finalists finish.

Then theres the Intertoto Cup where if more than one team enters after being invited then the place goes to the highest place team thats not in Europe already

I was thinking spurs get the place as finalists of the carling-is that not so? This is why it does my head in.

| | If any of the teams that qualify for the chumps league also win either the FA cup or Carling Cup then the sapre UEFA cup place moves down so 7th will get a UEFA cup place

This is why it does my head in. I think it's the finalists of the FA Cup who get in, but only the winner of the Carling Cup. |
