| Anyone else want him back in the lineup? at least he has something going forward, would even forgive him for some dodgy tracking that he was prone to.

| I want to see him back. All our good form at the start of the season came with him in the line up, I think he links up very well with Petrov. I like how composed he is for a 22 year old, he just gets on with the game.
I also get this feeling that with Ball that its only a matter of time until he decides to break someones leg. I thought Hleb may have been the unlucky recipient yesterday!

| I think we're missing Johnsons runs more than anything, plus Ireland is playing shit at the moment. We should just play Ball as left back, Garrido left wing back and Petrov as left winger. We do shit all down the right anyway...

| I like garrido, he can pass (sweet left foot) take players on.. and put decent balls into the box. My kind of player...petrov does fuckall to help him though!

| i agree with cooder, we just miss johnson's runs and also johnson's absence give mork work to do by elano and petrov where they can't link or they can't handle i would say. there's not any link between defence and offence where it was johnson. hope he makes it through very soon and i would like to see geovanni or ireland mc against manu

Lately we have missed Johnson so much, but also, the teams we played at start of the season didn't know what to expect and how we play. Now, every team knows we have to gov down the left - never attack on the right (via a winger) and Elano is marked out of games. It's no wonder we aren't as effective as we were. We need options - that's the difference betwen us and the top 3 or 4 -thye have options that change games. This year we have 1 option (go left), last season we had no options - so things are getting better.......
