I only think a loan will be worth the trouble if we have a buying clause. Just recruiting for the short term is not what we want, i would love Podolski to sign... but only permanently... all these loan signings would not be building for the future.

On the brightside... if he does join it means we are a club on the 'top' players radars!

It will never be permanently if we can get him on loan. If it means Podolski on loan or nobody it's got to be the loan.

Then sign a top class striker or two in the summer when it will be easier to get them.

I agree. I hope we have at least a buying clause for Castillo.

I can guarantee you Castillo will play like shit all the time

and when in October he will start playing really good

and then we'll find out that City does not have a buying clause and he will be sold to Real Madrid.

And Podolski will improve tremendously at City and then only Munich will benefit from it.

So dose sven, but if it's not possible for the clubs to sell we have to loan or be stuck with samaras, vass, mpenza. Com'on think about it. We don't know whats going to happen but if it's podolski on loan, that will do me.

Now your being silly. If he produces the goods we get in europe=extra cash, so of course we can benifit. Then we can move for better strikers who want to play in europe.

I think if Sven is smart enough and with the right amount of money City could get a buying clause

I have just talked with Tord again and it does look like Podolski will stay with Munich.
