| | It is the forcing of it on the rest of us I don't like. It started 50 years ago when it was presumed that we would all become United fans out of sympathy. I was and have been sympathetic but not pathetic because there was no way I was going to change and neither was my Dad. We all felt sorry for the families and in a way for English football (it was probable that Duncan Edwards would have collected the World Cup before Bobby Moore.), but It was over in 1958 and was a matter of private grief. I would not go to the derby next month if I had a free ticket.
