| I think we'll be towards the end of a fairly long list of teams wanting to sign him in Jan.
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| | Excellent free kick but he didn't show too much more that would convince me to buy him. I would like to see him play a few more times before I pass judgement. |

| | Agree, i can't say i've seen enough of him to say how good he is....but from what i hear he is a good player. What made me laugh last night was at the end one of the pundits said "they say he is valued at £5m, and that goal might add an extra nought." Ok it was a good goal, but i don't think anyone is gonna pay £50m because of it!

| | He's a scum fan........... Not so sure I want him after that. What about Giles Barnes at Derby? Four goals in three games, from the centre of midfield. Can play up front or on the wing. Has bags of pace and would only be about £1m. Good piece about him in the guardian yesterday. Last time I said this, no-one responded, so I'm going to say it again. What about playing Samaras in the hole, behind a front one or two? He seems to play better from there and the goals we've seen from him have generally been from running deep, like against Aston Villa last season, against West Ham, and his shots from the edge of the area are top notch. He's tall enough to win his share of flick-ons, so it would be worth a try, I think. The problem would be improving his workrate and making him track back....... Thoughts?
It's practically Christmas today! |

| | my problem with samaras is work rate he hasn't got any - he's a lazy bastard who doesn't run back and doesn't hastle the defenders - also he's got Heskey Syndrome - a big lad who is shit scared of physical contact

| What about not buying yet another striker. What about Sturridge. What about spending the money where it is really needed.
Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking when I hear the silly things that you say |

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

Time they had a seat on the bench at least ain't it? You'd think so. Start with Sam and Vass/Dickov, and have one of the young'uns on the bench. You could even afford to have both as Kelvin has played in midfield.
