| | Good for him and City. For players like Geo who only play from time to time City has a lot of good young players and only needs foreign players who are really good. Saves money and motivates the young players. You only love him because he made that goal against United. Get over it

| Bill Dando (10/01/2008) [quote]Citizen Erased (10/01/2008) Geo
If Dep La Coruna will give him a starting place we should probably let him go. I'd rather see Etuhu get picked to be honest.yeah Etuhu is one of my favorites. He has a great future.

So if he gets an offer, he gets to go for free. What is it with City and their handouts whilst on the other hand you've got Spurs, Arsenal and the likes making money on players not getting a game (referincing this article). Can Samaras fall into this soccernomics theory?

| | The shame for Geo is that the players in front of him are all playing well. He's played well when he has played, but so have the other players. Maybe if a player really slumps he'd get an oppurtunity, but for now iwth the team doing so well, he just has to be patient. I like him, but I'd much rather have our current XI and Geo as a sub. He shouldn't start, but is reliable and its good to know we have a decent back-up player. And Geo is not better than Ireland. |

| I think this is the 1st mistake that sven has made.....I feel they should have played geo more, the fact he was left out of the starting XI pretty much proves he's on his way...I really rated him

| Agreed. A big mistake to let Geo go. Sven must know something we don't...or he has someone else lined up!
