On my spring break from college here in the States, my friends and I are planning a trip to England and I was wondering how hard it is to get tickets for a City match. Is there a certain process that you have to go through or is it you just buy a ticket and go to the match like here in the States?

Thanks ahead of time for your guys help.

you're going to need to register for an accesscard (a couple of pounds), it's a swipe card / top up card, with a membership number that you buy tickets on when wickets are made available to accesscard holders last (after season ticket and city card holders), but not really a problem as a game hasn't sold out for a fair old time now. you can register for an access card on the mcfc.co.uk site.

For the vast majority of matches there is a cash box office open at the back of the south stand. You'll be able to buy a ticket on the day from there without an access card. Its a little bit more expensive though and you can only usually buy tickets for the third tier, which has a fantastic view but less atmosphere than the first tier.

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. I might just do the walk-up which is more expensive but I'll just spend my parents money
