I can't see Blackburn letting him go unless it was for oodles of cashAnd we don't want to do that. We need to build steadily IMO, Sven has spent around £40m and it's worked wonders so far, no need to spend half that again or maybe more on one player. If things carry on the way they are the top players will want to come to City, thus reducing the selling clubs bargaining power, Lyon saw that with Essien, we did with SWP, once they want to go it puts you on the back foot. No point and just chucking money at the job.
