I don´t think Thaksin will spend any big money in January.

I wished City would buy some really good players in January but I don´t think it will happen.

But maybe City will find some oil below their ground with all the Saudi and Iraqi players and

then Sven can buy Messi and Robinho.

Hopefully the paperwork will come through in time for Nery to make his debut at the Boleyn Ground at the weekend.

Thaksin is unlikely to be able to spend big this month and may be looking at sanctioning a spend of no more than say £10m (net of any outgoings like Samaras + other(s)).

I have a feeling that one 'big name' will arrive in the next 14 days. We need a Hamann replacement more than anything else to make the midfield even more dynamic.
