| slart (26/10/2006) When I'm flying home after a really bad game (last one was Sheffield Utd) I keep thinking I've wasted my entire weekend for 90 minutes of bilge. At least if you manage to do something else, like go to a gig, it doesn't seem so bad if the game is crap.Yeah but if it had have been a home game, you'd have had 180ish minutes of bilge to contend with.

| | Dull. Paul Weller should have packed in the music business 20 years ago. Everything he's recorded since then is suitable only for middle aged people who take themselves far too seriously. And why does he bother with these limp-wristed cover versions? "Thinking of You" is one of the greatest funk songs of all time, yet he even managed to make that sound intolerably boring. He can feck right off.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

But he's definitely the "mod father". Or maybe that should be Roger Daltrey? or even Pete Townshend?
