| England will play a friendly against Switzerland at Wembley on 6th February, the Football Association has confirmed. The match could be the first game in charge for the new England manager if the FA finds a successor to Steve McClaren's before then. The match against Switzerland will be the 20th time the two countries have met, with England winning 12, drawing four and losing three of the previous encounters. The last meeting between the two countries was at Euro 2004 when England ran out 3-0 winners. England have already agreed to play France at the Stade de France in Paris on 26th March but no decision has yet been taken on matches in the summer. A friendly against Scotland has been mooted but the FA may wait until it has appointed a new England manager before making a decision. What the Fuck man, it's the wednesday just after we Play Arsenal and just before we play UTD. Why can't we play a few friendlies during the Euros.Did they not learn after the whole Owen debacle. |

I saw that and thought exactly the title of your thread. With a bit of luck, they'll have international ploughing at wembley the week before as well.

| | I Don't want Richards to play or Fernandes fer that matter, don't want anything happening to any of our players before such a big game. If i were Barwick i'd pick Championship players and see how they do coz some may not ever get the chance to play fer England. |
