I'm wounded. I've got post traumatic stress syndrome. Thats how badly I take that defeat. Wait till the tournament kicks off and we're not there, then you'll fell like I do. I'm psychic, thats why I feel it now.

I dont blame you mate. When, if ever was the last time England failed to qualify for Euros?

Euros? Dunno, but Graham Taylor managed to ensure we avoided a few hellish weeks playing at the USA 1994 World Cup.

England really are poo, and McClaren is a pooer manager. totally out of his depth, but according to that bufoon Barwick he was the number 1 choice all along (after Scolari, that is).

I actually feel a bit sorry for McClaren, a man thrown into something he clearly was incapable of doing. He is an average manager of a mid table club, that's what he is - not international class. Middlesbrough was perfect for him, should have stayed there, and thanked his lucky stars.

So next summer will be a bummer. No Euro's..blank, boring summer with it all happening and we're not a part of it. I remember USA 94..and that was tripe. I couldn't even be arsed watching that.

So there we are, the country that gave the game to the world (even if Brazil showed us how to play it), not making a major tournament, despite having some of the best players in the world (according to the press). and we are down with the dead men like Macedonia, Wales, Ukraine, San Marino, Azerbaijan, Khazakstan, Belarus, Moldova etc

A sad state of affairs, indeed.

Its looked like the game was played with a hot potato yesterday, no one wanted the ball, we didn't keep possession and looked completely out of our depth.

Completely different to the last few games. They wanted it more and we couldn't pass for toffee.

Rooney should never have been marking at left back, and plays too deep and doesn't support owen enough. Good goal, but thats what happens when he is up with owen !!

Were as good as out now, baring a miracle !!

Although England and the supporters do think the are better than they actually are, they should have topped this group at the least. Just my opinion.

Ive met pretty much english people here in Sweden who care about football, they are so convinced England is the best team in the world, butthey are NOT and if you say against they get upset and angry, especially the drunk ones Sad They naming the whole english squad and ask, who could possibly be better then us. I think they definitly belong to the autamotic qualifier to every championship and passing group stage, then destiny take care of the rest.

Anyway, the odds isnt in Englands favor at now, but im sure I England will make it to the Euro anyway. Withouth England it will be a booring Euro 08 Sad
