| | I'd say yes. If he wasn't so injury prone, he'd never be at Newcastle now, and would be living it up on the continent and every club on the planet would want him. His injuries have really stunted his career. He's scored some amazing goals, with one of my favourite goals ever being the one he scored against Argentina. It's a pity really. PS - one of my mates is good friends with Shay Given and his family, and Shay took them all to Paris in his private jet. Apparently, all the footballers were taking the piss out off Owen cos his plane had propellers. That must be the footballers equivalent of taking the piss out of the boy who wore Dunlop at school, only for rich folk.....

it's an absolute cracker he flicked it up and turned and hit it on the volley id call that mis-controlled
Well whatever, the second touch was amazing !! He´s been unlucky at Madrid and Newcastle. at Madrid he was scoring, but kept starting on the bench. Newcastle, he had a bad injury !!

| Yes he is. He deserves more trophies than he has. He is a quality striker, and despite missing what could/should have been the best years of his career, he could still be England's highest ever goalscorer. I hope he gets it

| When injury-less and fully fit, he's up there with the best in the world.

| | He's just a glass man. I hope he's missing at weekend, because he always scores against us. |

| | I think its a safe bet he'll be missing at the weekend. I'd be more worried about Viduka ATM.

I think its a safe bet he'll be missing at the weekend. I'd be more worried about Viduka ATM. I always wondered if that was a reference to cash machines, but now i realise it's 'at the moment'. |
